This winter break, the kids finally got to try skiing. They were very very excited about it and didn't want me anywhere close to them, lest I spoil their fun. But they needed a photographer, right?? That's how, I got to be around...:D
They have never done this before. It was their first time. We rented the skis as we will have no further use for them once we head back to our country. Hubby knew a few basics about skiing as he had attended a course, few years ago. Sonny took in instructions well, but it turned out we had a stubborn princess in our midst, who wanted to do it her way!!!!
Somehow, she was comfortable stopping herself with her behind. No amount of explanation worked. At the end of the day, she was still plonking down to the floor to stop herself as pictured above.
Sonny loved every minute. He listened in earnestness and enjoyed it every bit. Towards the afternoon, we did find a tutor for them who worked patiently with them for two hours.
The kids had a great time with Laura and seemed to have learnt quite a few moves with her. Overall, they enjoyed this sport and are looking forward to doing it all over again. And I did what I do best, snap away!!!! :D
Oh my goodness - it's been forever since I've skied. I'd have to stick to the bunny slopes now.
