We spent the weekend with our friends from back home in the city of Stuttgart. With four kids to keep busy during the weekend, we headed over to Ludwigsburg where a pumpkin festival was happening since the past month. The moment we got out of the bus, this was the sight that greeted us. Forgetting the pumpkins I rushed to capture the lovely autumn hues with all four kids in tow. With a mini photo shoot over, we proceeded to the pumpkin delight.
There were way too many pumpkins in all colors, sizes and shapes!!!! A colorful sight indeed. The kids went crazy, so also us...:D
There were pretty pumpkin arrangements too...
plenty on sale....
Sliced pumpkins fried in hot oil in a wok seasoned with Indische spices... Naturally we ended up buying the seasoning to try out the same at home.
There were also food stalls selling delicacies prepared from.......you guessed right...:) Well, we had to meet up with another Indian family and since we were running out of time, we had to let our taste buds be satisfied with the yummy aroma wafting through the air.
In all, it was a gorgeous autumn fun filled day!!!!
